When creating a Routine for a family member, you can customize several settings to control when it happens, who participates, and how rewards are assigned. Below is a clear explanation of each option.
Step 1: Select the Date
Choose the date when the Routine starts.
- This sets the starting point of the Routine.
- For long-term habits, the selected date works together with the Repeat setting.
Step 2: Choose When the Routine Takes Place
Decide when the Routine should occur during the day.
Available options:
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Evening
- Select Time (set a custom time)
- All Day (useful when exact timing is not important)
Step 3: Set Reward Points
Assign points that can be earned when the Routine is completed.
You can choose one of the following:
- Custom Points
- Enter a value between 1 and 100
- Best for flexible or one-off rewards
- Points Template
- Apply a previously created template
- Example: selecting “Learning – 15 points” automatically assigns 15 points
Step 4: Set Repeat Rules
Choose how often the Routine repeats.
Available options:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
Custom (create your own repeat pattern)
Step 5: Select Participants
Choose who the Routine applies to.
- You can select one or multiple family members.
The Routine will appear on each selected participant’s task board.
