The Apolosign Calendar Meal Plan feature helps you easily plan daily or weekly meals. You can quickly choose from existing recipes or create new meals on the go, making family meal planning simple and organized.
1. How to Create a Meal Plan on Mobile
Apolosign Calendar supports fast meal plan creation directly from your phone.
Steps to Create a Meal Plan
On the home screen, tap Today’s Meal at the top to enter the Meal Plan section.
You can open the Add Meal Plan page in either of the following ways:
Tap the Meal Plan button in the bottom-right corner of the screen
Or long-press a time block in the calendar where you want to schedule a meal
On the Add Meal Plan page:
Tap When
Select the date
Select the meal time: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner / Snack
Choose a creation method:
From Recipes: Select a meal from your saved recipes
Create New: Create a new dish from scratch
After completing the setup, tap Save in the top-right corner
Once saved, the Meal Plan will immediately appear on your calendar and sync to the family calendar, allowing all family members to view it.
2. Meal Plan Settings Explained
When adding or editing a Meal Plan, you can customize the following details as needed.
Meal Name
What do you want to eat?
Enter the name of the dish, such as Pickle Burger, Salad, etc.
Save to Recipes
Enable this option to automatically save the meal to Recipes for future reuse, so you don’t need to recreate it next time.
Category
Organize recipes using categories to make them easier to find:
Mains
Sides
Desserts
Drinks
Categories help you quickly filter meals when using From Recipes.
Enter Link
Add a recipe webpage, cooking tutorial video, or food delivery link for quick access.
Instructions or Ingredients
Enter cooking steps or an ingredients list, so everything you need is available when preparing the meal.
3. How to Edit or Delete a Meal Plan
Meal Plans can be adjusted at any time to match real-life changes.
Tap an existing Meal Plan to open its details page
Tap + Add Meals at the bottom to add more dishes
Tap an existing dish to remove it from the current Meal Plan
This allows you to flexibly update the contents of each meal.
4. Meal Plan Tips for Better Planning
Tip 1: Use Repeating Meal Plans
You can set a meal plan to repeat for up to 7 days.
When adding a meal, go to When → Meal Time, then select a Start Date and End Date.
Tip 2: Plan Meals for the Whole Week
Schedule all meals for the upcoming week at once to avoid daily decision fatigue
Save frequently cooked dishes as Recipes for quick reuse
Use recipe categories (Mains / Sides, etc.) to find meals faster
Tip 3: Combine Links and Ingredients
Add recipe links or ingredient notes directly to the Meal Plan
Avoid switching between apps while cooking
Tip 4: Share with Family Members
Family members can view the daily meal plan in advance
Makes it easier to prepare, shop, or divide cooking responsibilities
Sync with Digital Calendar Devices
If you are using an Apolosign digital calendar device, any Meal Plans created or edited on your phone will automatically sync to the device, keeping everyone in the household up to date.
