If your remote control is not working or failing to connect via Bluetooth, you can easily troubleshoot and resolve the issue by following the steps below.
Since your device features a fully functional touchscreen, you can use your fingers to directly navigate the screen during the troubleshooting process.
Step 1: Battery & Hardware Power Reset
Sometimes, low battery power allows the remote's indicator light to turn on but prevents it from having enough signal strength to establish a stable Bluetooth connection.
Remove the batteries from the remote controller completely.
Press and hold any button on the remote for 10 seconds to drain any residual power.
Insert a pair of brand-new, fresh batteries into the remote.
Step 2: Clear Bluetooth Cache & Reset Module
Clear out any old connection glitches or cached pairing data on your device:
Go to Settings -> System -> Reset options -> Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth.
