Apolosign Calendar Mode Settings Guide 2.0

A complete list of all settings available in the Apolosign Calendar 2.0 app and what each option does.

How to access these settings: Open the Apolosign Calendar app and tap the Settings icon or menu option on the screen to open the settings panel.

A. General

Manage your device's basic connectivity, display, sound, notifications, and advanced options.

1. General

  • Wi-Fi: Connect to your home network to sync calendars.

  • Date & Time: Set local date and time. Toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats

2. Display

  • Automatic brightness: Enable or disable automatic screen brightness adjustment.

  • Brightness: Manually adjust the screen backlight intensity.

  • Lock screen: Configure lock screen options.


3. Volume

  • Video and reminder volume: Adjust the system, video, and alert volume levels

B. Section

Configure how your calendar is displayed, which home screen the device launches into, and which apps are available.

1. Calendar

Display Options

  • Event Color: When enabled (Follow Calendar Color), each event is displayed in the color of the calendar it belongs to, making it easier to tell events from different calendars apart.
  • Dim Past Events: When enabled, events that have already ended are shown in a dimmed color so upcoming events stand out.

Notifications

  • Event reminders: Manage alerts for events with a specific time slot. Choose whether the reminder triggers at the start of the event or a set interval before it.
  • All-day event reminders: Manage alerts for full-day events (e.g., birthdays or public holidays).
  • Reminder sound: Configure the audio notification for calendar alerts. Selecting Voice alert makes the device read the event title out loud when the reminder arrives (turn the volume up to maximum).

2. Default Launcher

  • Default home screen: Switch your landing page between Android Mode (standard tablet interface) and Calendar Mode (dedicated calendar interface).

3. Other Apps

  • Screen Saver: Configure timeout and image for idle mode.
  • Parental Controls: Set restrictions and passwords for safe use.
  • Files: Browse and manage internal storage/uploaded files.
  • Android OS Settings: Access the deeper Android system configuration menu.
  • Default App Update: Check for and install the latest versions of core apps.

C. Appearance

Customize the look and feel of your device display, including theme colors, light/dark mode, seasonal event themes, and cover previews.

1. Theme

  • Color: Select your preferred accent color theme from 6 preset options (Blue, Yellow/Green, Pink, Green, Sky Blue, and Purple/Blue).

  • Mode: Choose how the screen background and UI adapt to ambient lighting:

    • Light: Keeps the display in bright mode permanently.

    • Dark: Switches to a dark-mode interface.

    • AUTO: Automatically switches between Light mode and Dark mode based on the time of day (default: Dark mode active from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).

2. Event

  • Seasonal Theme Toggle: Enable Use a seasonal theme while an event is active to automatically apply special holiday themes (e.g., Halloween theme banner) on the main screen during active event periods.

3. Cover

  • Allow Notifications: Toggle to enable or disable notification alerts and cards over the cover screen.

  • Cover View Styles: Select and set your primary lock screen / standby cover style from the following options:

    • Photo: Displays chosen photos/albums as full-screen cover backgrounds.

    • Monthly Calendar: Shows an overview of the current month's calendar on top of the background.

    • Clock: Displays a clean, prominent digital time clock layout.

    • Month Progress: Displays a progress tracker visual for the current month.

    • Year Progress / Year View: Displays a progress visual for the entire calendar year.

    • Countdown: Displays active event countdowns (e.g., days remaining until upcoming holidays or custom events).

D. Family

View your family or team synchronization details.

1. Family Profile

  • Family Name: This name is displayed at the top of the family profile page.

2. Members

  • View a list of members on this family calendar, including each member's avatar, role tag (e.g., Owner), email address, and birthday. Members with a birthday saved will show a cake icon and the date (e.g., 08/18/2001).

3. Calendar

  • View a list of all calendars synced to the family display, such as Family Calendar, Google, and apolosign icloud.

E. About Device

Technical specifications, maintenance info, and legal terms.

1. Device Info

  • Device ID: Unique identification code for your hardware.

  • Device Name: The name assigned during the Apolosign App setup.

2. Device Details

  • App Version: Current software version details and manual upgrade button.

3. Device Identifiers

  • Wi-Fi MAC: Your device's network hardware address.

  • Serial Number (SN): Your unique product serial number.

  • Firmware Version: Current system firmware details.

4. Legal & Maintenance

  • Reset Data: Unbind the device from your account to clear all settings and personal information.

  • Privacy Policy: Read our privacy guidelines.

  • Terms of Service: Read our terms of service.
