Short answer: No, you don't need a screen protector — and we actually recommend against using one.
There's no need to worry about the screen quality: the display holds up perfectly well under normal use.
In fact, adding a screen protector can cause two issues:
- Reduced display clarity. Our screen uses a matte (anti-glare) finish, so a screen protector will make the display look less clear.
- Accelerated screen oxidation. Keeping a protector on for a long time can accelerate oxidation of the screen, which does more harm than good.
