Apolosign Portable TV is equipped with multiple ports to support a wide range of external devices and usage scenarios, including video input, peripherals, storage devices, and power supply.
This article explains the function and usage of each port and how to connect external devices properly.
Ports Overview
Your Apolosign Portable TV includes the following ports:
● HDMI IN – Video and audio input from external devices
● USB-A (×2) – For USB storage devices, mouse, or keyboard receivers
● Type-C – OTG function only
● DC IN – Power input (not a charging port)
HDMI IN – Connecting External Devices
The HDMI IN port allows you to connect external devices and display their content directly on the Portable TV.
How to Connect via HDMI
1. Power on the Apolosign Portable TV.
2. Use a standard HDMI cable.
3. Connect one end of the cable to your external device
4. (such as a laptop, game console, or streaming device).Connect the other end to the HDMI IN port on the Portable TV.
5. The screen will automatically switch to the HDMI input source.
If not, manually select HDMI from the input/source menu.
📌 Note: The HDMI port is input only, not HDMI output.
USB-A Ports – External Accessories & Storage
The Portable TV includes two USB-A ports, which can be used to connect:
● USB flash drives or external storage devices
● Mouse and keyboard receivers
● Other compatible USB peripherals
These ports are commonly used to improve navigation, input efficiency, or access media files stored on USB devices.
Type-C Port – OTG Function Only
The Type-C port supports OTG (On-The-Go) functionality.
This port can be used for:
● Connecting compatible OTG accessories
● Data-related peripheral functions
📌 Important:
The Type-C port does not support video input and cannot be used as a display port.
DC IN – Power Input
The DC IN port is used to power the screen directly from an external power source.
● It is not a charging port
● It is used only when the battery is not connected
● Power supplied through DC IN does not charge the battery
Important Notes
● HDMI connections require a physical HDMI cable
● Wireless casting and HDMI input are separate features
● Make sure all cables are securely connected before use
● Port functions are fixed and cannot be reassigned
Troubleshooting Tips
● If no signal appears, check that the correct input source is selected
● Ensure the external device is set to output video via HDMI
● Try a different HDMI cable or external device if needed
● Disconnect and reconnect accessories if a USB device is not recognized
