Overview
This guide explains how to use the system settings on your Apolosign Digital Calendar, including changing language, setting date and time, updating the system and apps, performing a factory reset, and checking storage and memory expansion.
1. How to Change System Language
① Go to Settings → System → Language & Region.
② Select your preferred system language.
③ Optional: Adjust app language and regional preferences, such as temperature or measurement format.
2. How to Set Date and Time
Automatic Synchronization (Recommended):
① Go to Settings → System → Date & Time.
② Enable Automatic Date & Time and Automatic Time Zone.
Manual Adjustment:
① Disable the automatic options.
② Enter your custom date, time, and select your time zone.
③ Toggle 24-hour format to change the time display mode.
3. How to Update the System
① Go to Settings → System → System Update.
② The device will automatically check for updates. To check manually, tap Check for Updates.
③ Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install available updates.
④ When complete, a message will display: “Your system is up to date”.
4. How to Update Pre-Installed Apps
① Go to Settings → System → App Update.
② View the list of installed system apps (e.g., Apolosign Launcher, Screensaver).
③ Tap Check Update for individual apps, then Install to complete any available updates.
5. How to Restore Factory Settings
Warning: This action will erase all personal data, apps, and customized settings.
① Go to Settings → System → Reset Options.
② Select Erase All Data (Factory Reset).
③ Confirm the warning to begin the reset process.
6. How to Check Storage and Memory Expansion
① Go to Settings → Storage.
② View real-time information: Total Capacity, Used Space, and Available Space.
③ To check optional memory expansion (e.g., 4GB), go to Settings → Memory Expansion.
