If you notice that your digital calendar's screensaver has stopped rotating and remains stuck on one photo, it is likely related to how your Google Photos library is being indexed.
The Cause
This issue occasionally occurs if you have selected Google Photos as your wallpaper source and enabled the "All Photos" option in the settings.
When "All Photos" is selected, the system must attempt to load your entire library from the cloud. If your collection is very large or organized into numerous distinct folders, the loading process may be interrupted or timed out after the initial batch of images. This results in the slideshow becoming "stuck" on the last successfully loaded image.
The Recommended Solution
To ensure a stable and consistent slideshow experience, we highly recommend the following:
Select a Specific Album: Instead of choosing "All Photos," please select a single dedicated album for your screensaver.
Why this works: This limits the device to loading only the photos within that specific album, significantly reducing the processing load and preventing connection drops.
Next Steps
