If your Apolosign device is having trouble recognizing different family members' voices or responding to "Hey Google," you may need to refresh the Voice Match settings. This process ensures Gemini is properly calibrated to your voice and authorized to assist you hands-free.
Follow these steps to reset and improve voice recognition:
Step 1: Access Gemini Settings
Open the Gemini app (or Google Assistant) on your device.
Tap your Profile Picture/Icon in the top right corner.
Select Gemini Settings.
Step 2: Reset Voice Match
Tap on "Talk to Gemini hands-free".
Select "Manage Voice Match".
Tap "Turn off", then confirm by tapping "Got it". (This clears the previous voice profile to allow for a fresh setup).
Step 3: Reactivate "Hey Google"
Toggle the "Hey Google" switch to the ON position.
Tap "Turn on" when prompted.
Tap "More", then read and select "I agree" to proceed with the voice training.
Follow the on-screen prompts to record your voice samples.
