Managing daily habits, chores, and household tasks is easy with the Routines feature on the Apolosign calendar. This guide covers everything you need to know about setting up, managing, and tracking routines across your mobile app and device.
1. What is the Routines Tab?
The Routines section (accessed via the top navigation bar in your Apolosign mobile app) allows you to assign recurring or daily tasks to different family members. Each routine can be tied to specific time slots, dates, and reward points.
2. Creating and Editing a Routine
You can manage all your routines directly from the Apolosign mobile app:
Create a New Routine: Tap the "+" (add) button at the bottom right of the Routines page to open the creation menu.
Edit an Existing Routine: Tap on any existing routine (e.g., Swimming) to open its details, then tap the Edit (pencil) icon in the top right corner.
Key Settings You Can Adjust:
Title: Name your task or habit.
Select Members: Assign the routine to one or multiple family members.
Date & Time ("When"): Choose specific dates and assign time slots such as Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or All Day.
Repeat Rules: Set how often the routine repeats (Every day, Every week, Every month, Every year, or Does not repeat), or choose Custom to define exact intervals and end conditions.
Points: Assign reward points that users earn upon completing the routine.
3. Completing and Tracking Routines
In the Mobile App: Family members can view their tasks, check details, and tap Complete once a routine is finished.
Overdue Tasks: Tasks that are missed will be marked accordingly (e.g., 1 day late), helping you keep track of unfinished habits.
4. Viewing Routines on Your Device
Your routines automatically sync and display on your Apolosign hardware device:
Home Screen Display: Active routines appear on the main screen, allowing household members to view and check off tasks directly from the device.
Device Management Panel: Open the settings panel on your device to customize your view preferences, such as toggling Show Overdue or Show Done tasks on or off.
