The To-Dos section on Apolosign helps your household stay organized by keeping track of everyday tasks, shopping lists, and quick reminders. This guide covers everything you need to know about managing lists, creating tasks, and using filters on both your mobile app and hardware device.
1. Managing Your Lists (Create, Rename, and Delete)
Before adding tasks, you can organize your items into different categories (such as Things to Do, Groceries, Someday, or Shopping List for the Week).
How to Access List Management:
Tap the options menu (three dots icon) in the top-right corner of the To-Dos screen and select Manage Lists.
Creating a New List:
Tap + Create New at the bottom of the Manage Lists screen.
Enter a list name and choose a custom color from the palette to help visually categorize your lists (e.g., pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, or orange). Tap Save.
Editing or Deleting a List:
Tap the three dots icon (...) next to any existing list to Rename it or Delete it.
2. Creating and Completing To-Do Items
Important Note on Dates & Repeating:
Apolosign To-Dos are designed as flexible, straightforward checklists. They do not support specific due dates or recurring schedules (repeating rules). For time-sensitive events with dates and times, please use the Calendars section instead.
How to Add a To-Do:
Tap the blue "+" (add) button at the bottom right of the To-Dos screen.
Type your task description into the Add To-Do field.
Tap List to select which category/list the task belongs to, then tap Save.
Completing and Managing Tasks:
Tap the circle next to any task to mark it as completed.
Completed tasks will automatically move down into the Completed collapsible section, where you can view past tasks or clear them out using the trash icon.
3. Filtering and Viewing Options
You can easily filter your tasks to focus on what matters most:
List Filter (Top Left):
Tap the dropdown menu at the top left (defaulted to All) to view tasks from a specific list only (such as Groceries or Books).
Family Member Filter (Top Row):
Use the member avatar icons across the top to filter tasks assigned to or created by specific family members, or select All to view everyone's tasks.
Device-Side Sync:
Your To-Do lists and filters sync automatically to your Apolosign hardware device, allowing the whole household to view and check off tasks directly from the home screen.
