If events created on your Apolosign device screen do not sync back to your phone (or vice versa), please check the following essential settings to ensure smooth two-way synchronization for Google Calendar and iCloud Calendar:
Step 1: Ensure Two-Way Sync is Enabled (Initial Setup)
The sync type (One-Way vs. Two-Way) can only be selected during the initial import and cannot be toggled later.
If your calendar was previously set to One-Way Sync, please delete the linked calendar and re-link it using Two-Way Sync.
Account-Specific Requirements:
Google Calendar: Sign in using the exact Google account linked to your phone.
iCloud Calendar: Requires your Apple ID email and an Apple app-specific password.
Step 2: Always Select the Target Cloud Calendar
When creating a new event directly on your physical Apolosign device screen:
Tap the Calendar / Source field in the event creation window.
Manually select your Google Calendar or iCloud Calendar instead of the local device calendar.
⚠️ Important: Events saved under the "Local Calendar" exist only on the physical device screen and will NOT sync back to your phone.
Step 3: Platform-Specific Troubleshooting
📱 For Google Calendar Users:
Check Event Source on Phone: Ensure your mobile events are actually stored under your Google account rather than local phone storage or manufacturer-specific local accounts (such as Samsung Account). Events saved locally cannot be synced.
☁️ For iCloud Calendar Users:
Check iCloud Storage Space: Verify your Apple account storage on your iPhone. If your iCloud storage is full, Apple blocks the device from uploading new events, causing two-way sync to fail.
