The split-screen feature allows you to use two applications side-by-side on your ApoloSign device.
Enable Split-Screen Mode
Before using split-screen mode, ensure the feature is enabled:
Settings → Accessibility → System Controls → Split-screen button
Using Split-Screen Mode
Once enabled:
- Open the application you wish to use.
- Swipe up from the navigation bar (the small horizontal line at the bottom of the screen).
- The "Recent Apps" screen will appear, listing the applications you have used recently.
- Tap the square icon at the top of the application window.
- Select "Split screen"
- Select the second application to display alongside the first one.
You can drag the divider line between the two applications to adjust the size of each window.
To exit split-screen mode, drag the divider line to the very top or bottom of the screen.
Important Notes:
- Not all applications support split-screen mode. If an application does not support this feature, the "Split screen" option may not appear.
- For the best experience, we recommend using applications designed for large screens and landscape mode.
- Performance may vary depending on the applications running simultaneously.
- To exit split-screen mode, drag the divider line to the very top or bottom of the screen.
Monitoring Apps:
- Some baby monitor, or live monitoring applications may display a black screen when in split-screen mode.
- This is due to limitations within the applications themselves; for performance and security reasons, certain monitoring apps do not allow live video streams to be displayed when the window is resized or used in a multi-window environment.
- If you encounter a black screen, please use the monitoring application in full-screen mode instead.
